Erik's primary area of practice is focused on the representation of financial institutions in both the origination and syndication of single and multi-lender real estate based senior and mezzanine loan transactions as well as the workout/restructuring of senior/mezzanine loans on a local and national basis. In this capacity Erik has broad based experience in all aspects of structuring, documenting, syndicating, participating, and working-out such loans.
Representative Transactions
- Representation of the agent in the ongoing resolution of a $122 million dollar loan involving a commercial office building in New York City
- Representation of the agent in the origination and syndication of a $260 million dollar term loan secured by three shopping malls in Texas
- Representation of the agent in the origination, syndication, participation, and ongoing workout of a high profile mezzanine construction loan secured by various pledges of ownership interest
- Representation of the agent in the origination and syndication of a $50 million dollar term loan to a nationally recognized REIT secured by real estate located in New York City
- Representation of the agent in an advancing senior loan and an advancing mezzanine loan, respectively secured by various industrial properties located throughout the country and various pledges of membership interest
