Steffani's practice concentrates on civil litigation, particularly commercial, banking, and real estate law. She has appeared in litigation proceedings in the federal, bankruptcy, and state courts in Massachusetts, handling cases involving all types of commercial disputes, business torts, bankruptcy, unfair trade practice claims, and environmental disputes.

Representative Cases

• Represented a local environmental firm defending against claims of breach of contract and Mass. Gen. Laws, ch. 93A and involving claims arising out of alleged violations of the Massachusetts Contingency Plan
• Represented both national and local real estate developers and management companies in actions negotiating, amending, and enforcing both commercial and residential lease agreements
• Represented businesses of various sizes concerning issues including breaches of contract and various business disputes, with extensive work handling claims made under the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Statute (Mass. Gen. Laws, ch. 93A)
• Represented several national banks in various levels of debt collection, including litigation, asset liquidation, foreclosures, and obtaining and enforcing judgments
