Martha is a senior partner in the firm’s Banking and Finance area. She primarily represents local and regional lenders in a variety of commercial real estate mortgage, acquisition and refinance, and construction loan transactions in Massachusetts and other states, and assists lenders and counsel lending in Massachusetts with review of Massachusetts real estate issues. As part of her practice, Martha also reviews and advises on real estate and title insurance issues, purchase and sale transactions, and zoning opinions for developers and lending institutions.
Representative Transactions
- Represented lead lender in a participated $67 million refinance loan to a major hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts
- Representation of several area lenders for numerous construction loans to regional developers of stores for national pharmacy chain
- Representation of lenders for multi-million dollar mortgage loans to developers for construction of retail chain stores in Quincy, Massachusetts
- Ongoing representation of lender for construction and refinance loans to national storage facility operator
- Assist national lender in preparation of mortgages and review of title issues for multi-state collateral loans
