Martha primarily represents commercial real estate lenders in a variety of commercial real estate mortgage, acquisition and refinance, and construction loan transactions in Massachusetts and several other states. She also does extensive work in reviewing and advising on real estate and title insurance issues, purchase and sale transactions, and zoning opinions for developers and lending institutions.

Representative Transactions

• Aggregate principal $13.6 million loan for acquiring and constructing a residential condominium development in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts
• $7.5 million construction loan for rehabilitation of mixed-use retail and office space in Brookline, Massachusetts
• $2.4 million acquisition and construction loan for developing a residential condominium project in Norwell, Massachusetts under Comprehensive Permit pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40B
• Preparation of mortgage instruments and review of title insurance policies for a multi-state transaction involving a major national retailer
• Representation of a Massachusetts nonprofit organization in the acquisition of historic property for rehabilitation and use as office space by an educational foundation
