Alicia focuses her practice on commercial real estate, with a particular emphasis on financing complex real estate projects for borrowers and lenders. Alicia also has a legal background in project development, including representing developers in acquisitions, development agreements, management agreements, zoning and land use matters, construction contracts, and leasing agreements for a wide variety of projects. She has represented publicly held companies, real estate investment trusts, financial institutions, developers, and investors in a broad range of sophisticated real estate transactions including acquisitions, sales, joint ventures and entity organization, mezzanine financings, forward commitments, construction financings, loan modifications, and restructurings.

  • $600 million real estate secured loan facilities for industrial asset portfolios involving properties located in over 31 states
  • $400 million syndicated real estate secured revolving credit facility for retail shopping center portfolio
  • $330 million term and revolving credit facilities involving properties located in eleven states
  • $80,625,000 acquisition loan financing for Houston area mall
  • $73 million forward commitment and joint venture in the construction of a Washington, D.C. area office building
  • $25 million mezzanine financing of condominium development located in the Boston area
  • $83 million sale of eleven bank branches
  • Represented majority owners in restructure of company ownership of a New York City office building which included the sale of a member's interests back to the majority owners
