Alicia focuses her practice on commercial real estate, with a particular emphasis on financing complex real estate projects for borrowers and lenders. Alicia also has a legal background in project development, including representing developers in acquisitions, development agreements, management agreements, zoning and land use matters, construction contracts, and leasing agreements for a wide variety of projects. She has represented publicly held companies, real estate investment trusts, financial institutions, developers, and investors in a broad range of sophisticated real estate transactions including acquisitions, sales, joint ventures and entity organization, mezzanine financings, forward commitments, construction financings, loan modifications, and restructurings.

Prior to joining Riemer & Braunstein, Alicia was a senior associate in the real estate department of a large Boston law firm specializing in commercial real estate development and finance.

Represented an investor in the purchase of a corporate center located in New Jersey for $12,550,000
Represented insurance company in a $73,000,000 forward commitment and joint venture in the construction of a Washington, D.C. area office building
Represented a financial institution in a $39,500,000 acquisition loan of an office park
Represented Arizona bank with respect to real estate matters involved in the $83,000,000 sale of eleven branches of the bank
Restructuring of the corporate ownership of an office building in New York, New York including the sale of one of the member’s interests
