Rita's practice is concentrated in representing businesses and financial institutions in all facets of commercial litigation, including enforcement of contracts, loan and security arrangements, and Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 93A claims. Rita also represents clients in tort claims such as product liability, premises liability, and personal injury claims. Additionally, Rita represents clients in construction negligence claims and claims of directors' and officers' liability. Rita routinely appears in the Superior and District Court Department of the Massachusetts Trial Courts, and has prepared and argued appeals before both the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Appellate Division of the Massachusetts District Courts.

• Represented lending institutions in creditors' rights and lender liability cases
• Trial counsel in an action to enforce the terms of a commercial contract
• Trial and appellate counsel to a financial institution in obtaining a judgment in enforcing a commercial loan
