Jonas practices in the firm’s Banking and Finance Department in the areas of commercial finance and general transactional and corporate law. Jonas’s practice consists of secured and unsecured lending transactions focusing on representing commercial banks and other lending institutions in financing transactions across a wide spectrum of industries. Jonas has extensive experience representing both lenders and borrowers in loan restructuring and workouts and representing both buyers and sellers of privately held businesses in merger and acquisition transactions. Jonas has participated in many presentations to various lenders concerning loan documentation and is a frequent speaker and consultant to the Center for Women & Enterprise in Boston and Worcester, Massachusetts.

- Represented a senior lender in a $15 million secured working capital line of credit and term loan to a professional services company
- Represented a senior lender in secured working capital and equipment loans ranging from $1 million to $60 million provided to franchisees of a global franchise
- Represented a national construction company in the restructuring of a $500 million senior secured credit facility
- Represented a global liquidation company in a $250 million senior secured credit facility
- Represented a privately held seller in the sale of its assets associated with its asphalt and concrete business for $88 million
- Represented a privately held buyer in its purchase of a plastics molding business for $5 million
