Michael focuses his practice in the area of commercial real estate lending transactions. He represents a variety of financial institutions and other institutional clients in connection with single-lender as well as agented, multi-lender construction, mezzanine, and permanent financing projects on a local, regional, and national basis for retail, residential, office, and industrial properties.

Representative Transactions

• Represented the agent in a $59.8 million loan for the acquisition of a multi-tenant retail building in California
• Represented the agent in a $210 million construction loan for the conversion of a New York City hotel into a cooperative apartment building
• Represented the agent in a $40 million construction loan for the construction of two hotel properties in Virginia
• Represented the agent in a $240 million loan for the acquisition and renovation of a New York City hotel property
• Represented the lender in a $12.7 million construction loan for the construction of a multi-tenant apartment building in New York
• Represented the agent in a $95.2 million construction loan for the construction of a multi-tenant, multi-use property in New York City
