Kristin represents trustees in Chapter 7 liquidation proceedings and debtors in Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings. She also works with secured and unsecured creditors in a variety of bankruptcy and insolvency contexts, including avoidance actions such as preferences and fraudulent conveyances, and matters involving cash collateral, adequate protection, and debtor-in-possession financing issues.

Representative Transactions

Represented Chapter 11 debtor-in-possession nationwide operator of car washes, quick lube centers, gas stations and convenience stores with liabilities of $130 million in reorganization and in associated adversary proceedings and attendant litigation matters
Represented Chapter 11 debtor-in-possession chain of 150 convenience stores and gas stations in the northeast, with revenues of $175 million in selling its retail locations through Chapter 11, as well as in associated adversary proceedings and related litigation matters
Represent court-appointed trustees as counsel in all types of estate administration matters, including adversary proceedings, contested matters, and negotiated settlements
