Neil's practice is focused on representing commercial banks and other financial institutions in real estate finance transactions, including senior loan facilities as well as mezzanine loan facilities. Neil's transactions consist of single-lender transactions as well as multi-lender syndicated transactions providing construction or permanent financing for projects such as retail shopping centers, office and industrial complexes, and residential developments, both locally and nationally.

Representative Transactions

• $217 million construction financing for mixed use development in Virginia consisting of retail, residential, and office components
• $20 million mezzanine construction financing for mixed use development in Manhattan consisting of luxury hotel, restaurant, and residential components
• $10 million mezzanine construction financing for the redevelopment and sale of an industrial complex in California
• $75 million senior secured revolving credit facility to finance investments of commercial real estate finance company acting as wholesale lender
