Phil focuses his practice on a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including suits on notes and guaranties, junior and senior lien foreclosure suits, breach of contract claims, employment actions, fraud and misrepresentation disputes, and real-estate related litigation.

Representative Cases

• Obtained dismissal for institutional lender sued by financial institution for conversion of a negotiable instrument
• Represented institutional lender in suit alleging an improper and unauthorized wire transfer
• Successfully represented lender in appellate court resulting in reversal of trial court’s granting of a directed verdict against lender's count for breach of oral contract
• Represented institutional lender in suit by another institutional lender for breach of contract
