Dorothy's practice focuses on representing various financial institutions in single-lender and multi-lender commercial real estate transactions, including construction and development projects, both locally and nationally. Prior to joining Riemer & Braunstein, Dorothy represented financial institutions in all manner of commercial real estate financing transactions with a New York City law firm for nearly six years. Dorothy also worked for several years in commercial real estate lending administration for a major U.S. national bank.

  • Representation of the lender in a revolving line of credit and term loan arrangement in the aggregate amount of $60 million for a 164-unit multi-family apartment complex in Brooklyn, New York
  • Representation of the agent in a $46.5 million syndicated loan for the permanent financing of a hotel in New York City
  • Representation of the agent in a $44.5 million term loan involving fee and leasehold financing on an office and retail complex in San Francisco, California
  • Representation of the lender in a $38 million loan involving the construction of a luxury condominium and retail project in Boston
  • Representation of the agent in a series of syndicated loan originations in the aggregate amount of $22 million involving the acquisition of 13 national drug stores in 10 states
