Eric focuses his practice on representing lenders and other financial institutional clients in connection with commercial real estate finance transactions, including single-lender loans, syndication loans and multi-lender construction, mezzanine and permanent financing and re-financing projects. Eric’s representation of lenders spans across a large range of real estate asset types, including office buildings, retail centers, multi-family projects and hotels. Prior to joining Riemer & Braunstein, Eric worked in the real estate finance group at a large law firm in New York, primarily representing lenders, lead arrangers, and borrowers in a wide variety of commercial lending transactions, including secured financings, acquisition and leveraged financings, asset-based financings and widely syndicated domestic and international credit facilities.
- Representation of a lender in its $41 million portfolio loan for the acquisition and development of six office buildings located in New Jersey
- Representation of an administrative agent and co-lenders in its syndication of a portion of a $750 million loan in connection with the financing of a leasehold interest in an office condominium unit in a building located in Manhattan
- Representation of an administrative agent in its syndicated $195 million loan for the re-financing of a retail center located in Manhattan, which included components of mezzanine debt and IDA Bond financing
- Representation of an administrative agent in its syndicated $105 million loan for the acquisition and development of an office building located in North Carolina
