About Matthew
Matt is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Finance Group. His practice focuses on representing various financial institutions in both single-lender and agented, multi-lender real estate finance and commercial loans, including secured and unsecured borrowing base facilities for working capital and acquisitions, real estate construction facilities, and subscription secured lines. Before law school, Matt was a commercial real estate broker in Florida, where he closed over $15 million in commercial real estate transactions. He also published the article, “Substantive Rationality Challenges Against Federal Land Condemnations — Could Innovative Property Rights Defenses Against Eminent Domain Actions Have Undercut The Border Wall?” in the Real Estate Law Journal, exploring a novel defense to eminent domain takings.
