Michael’s practice focuses on the representation of lenders in complex commercial real estate finance transactions, including acquisition, construction, development, and mezzanine and permanent loans. Michael has also represented lenders providing acquisition financing for the purchase and sale and related of properties and borrowers in the negotiation and closing of construction loans.
Michael previously worked in the New York and Miami offices of an international law firm representing clients in a broad range of real estate transactions. Prior to working as a real estate attorney, Michael worked in the restructuring department of an international law firm representing various parties in a number of in-court and out-of-court restructurings. Michael previously clerked for Bankruptcy Judge Louis A. Scarcella in the Eastern District of New York.
