About Andrea

Andrea focuses her practice in the areas of estate and asset protection planning, probate and trust administration, elder law, and special needs planning and advocacy. She crafts estate plans to address a multitude of special considerations, including tax planning, charitable giving, business succession, and long term care planning, and advises clients on how to adequately protect the needs of their disabled loved ones. She addresses the financial, legal, and medical needs of each individual to ensure that they are able to benefit or inherit under an estate while maintaining eligibility for public benefits and other needs-based programs, and provides education and guidance on funding and future administration of special needs trusts. Andrea counsels individuals and families on how to navigate the unique challenges that come with caring for aging and disabled loved ones, and guides families through the complex process of obtaining guardianship and conservatorship.

On estate and trust administration matters, Andrea advises clients how to properly fulfill their responsibilities as a fiduciary, including preparing necessary court documents, facilitating the sale of real estate, calculating distributions and accounting, preparing estate tax returns, and engaging with other financial professionals. She also works with individuals named as heirs or beneficiaries to ensure that their interests are adequately represented and protected.
