About Janine
Janine is counsel in the firm’s Commercial Finance group. Janine’s practice focuses on the representation of all major parties in interest in connection with financial restructurings, distressed loans and workout matters, and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases across the country. These clients include secured lenders, debtors, unsecured creditors, official committees, buyers of distressed assets, liquidating trustees, vendors and service providers, and contract counterparties. Janine’s experience is extensive in both the transactional and litigation aspects of these cases, and covers a diverse cross section of industries such as retail, industrial, manufacturing, specialty chemicals, food services, and financial products. Janine’s transactional experience includes negotiating and drafting the terms of debtor-in-possession financing, cash collateral matters, exit facilities, complex sales transactions, transition services agreements and vendor and supplier agreements. Her bankruptcy litigation experience spans from the defense and prosecution of Chapter 5 causes of action to complex plan appeal issues.
