About Matthew

Matt is a co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate Finance practice, managing partner of the firm’s Chicago office and is also a member of the firm’s executive committee. Matt represents numerous institutional clients (including balance sheet lending institutions, debt funds and life insurance companies) in Boston, Chicago and New York on a variety of real estate financing transactions and the resolution of problem loans on a local, regional, and national basis.  Matt’s practice consists of a broad range of single-lender and complex syndicated multi-lender commercial real estate senior financing and mezzanine financing transactions with respect to a wide variety of asset classes, including, the construction and permanent fee and leasehold financing of retail shopping centers, office and industrial parks, hotels, multifamily projects and mixed use development projects.
