About Richard

Rich is a co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate Finance practice and is a member of the firm’s executive committee. Rich represents numerous institutional clients (including balance sheet lending institutions and debt funds) in a variety of real estate financing transactions and the resolution of problem loans on a national basis.  Rich’s practice consists of a broad range of commercial real estate financing (including construction, bridge and permanent financings) with respect to a wide variety of asset classes, including office, senior housing and healthcare, industrial, hospitality, condominium, co-operative and multifamily, and retail. Rich has extensive experience in syndicated and participated loan arrangements, A/B note transactions, mezzanine financing, historic and new market tax credit arrangements, and numerous other complex intercreditor and co-lender arrangements.  Rich’s practice also extends to the representation of various commercial real estate finance clients in connection with workout/foreclosure of commercial real estate senior secured loans and mezzanine loans.
