Stacy practices in the firm’s commercial real estate group, representing financial institutions and other institutional clients in connection with single-lender and agented, multi-lender construction, mezzanine and permanent financing projects on a local and national basis. Stacy utilizes her experience gained before joining the firm by also focusing on the firm’s representation of institutional clients in providing preferred equity funding and entering into joint ventures to develop real estate projects. Stacy provides an excellent perspective toward this area of practice, as prior to joining Riemer & Braunstein, Stacy was an associate in the New York office of an international law firm where she represented shopping center operators, investment managers, investment companies, hedge funds, and insurance companies in the financing of real estate assets and the structuring and restructuring of joint venture relationships. Stacy’s prior experience also included the representation of various clients in the purchase and sale of distressed and non-distressed mortgage and mezzanine debt.
